Saturday, February 21st—Saturday, March 7th
6pm-8pm
54 Ludlow Street, New York, NY
Known on Instagram as @shagey_, you might have seen Sarah Hagale’s work reposted on your friends’ stories when they are feeling acutely stressed, tired, or cute and only know how to express it through a small graphite drawing of a girl or maybe her dog. Somehow precise, humorous, and cutesy all at once, Hagale’s style is a perfect culmination of every doodle drawn in the margins of your notebook while you’re supposed to be paying attention in class.
Hagale’s first gallery show of original art is being hosted at Hashimoto Contemporary for two weeks, with the gallery’s opening reception on February 21st; the artist will also be in attendance! Go and enjoy some beautiful art and laugh with the people you love.
