📍 Hide-and-Seek Art Show (FREE)
Opening Reception: September 6th, 2pm-6pm
247 E 2nd Street, New York, NY
A curated creative display that embraces the local NYC community, Hide-and-Seek is a multi-disciplinary art show at Les Petit Versailles Garden recommended to us by fellow creative and participating artist Eileen Ramos. Running from 9/6—9/10, the opening reception features a variety of group workshops, plus the exhibition’s usual artwork, and ends with a community potluck!
“Rooted in posthuman theoretical perspectives and inspired by New York’s community gardens, the project reconsiders relationships within open spaces, particularly in green and communal environments designed for hosting and sharing. By engaging artists with diverse practices, Hide-and-Seek explores a posthuman vision centered on interdependence and coexistence among all forms of life.”
Perfect for any of you who are looking for inspiration, community, or simply an experience that will leave you lighter after it, come participate in this beautiful group show and leave your trace. 🌱
