​​Perfect for beginners looking to explore the world of clay, we'll cover the basics of slab building techniques, providing all materials and templates for you to create a stunning first vessel of your choosing<3 It will be playful and communal and oh so very hands on, we can't wait to create with you!

​​ At drawing club, we’ll collectively leave our drawing baggage, perfectionism and inner critics at the door— embracing a spirit of exploration and play through color, together. 

​​Throughout the guided, two hour session, you will have the chance to draw three different spring + floral inspired still life setups. We’ll experiment with different drawing mediums and ways of approaching them, focusing on the process rather than the product! This is not a drawing class, but you can expect an introduction to the materials, techniques and to pull inspiration from different working artist's pieces to try out throughout our time.

We all have that one spot in our home that needs a large piece of art - you know the one above the couch, bed, or entryway? Now's your chance to fill it with your own creativity.

Join us from 6-9pm for an evening of large canvas painting at Happy Medium and leave with your new favorite piece.

We will provide the paints, canvases, floating frames, inspiration and even sketch it for you if you want! You bring a buddy (or come solo) and get to work. Each ticket admits up to two people to paint one canvas. No experience necessary.

Participants will learn the sewn-boards binding style, a bookbinding technique that requires minimal materials and tools while creating a book that lies flat when open, excellent for writing, drawing, planning, etc. Each participant will take home a 120-page blank pocket-size journal. 

This spring, we’ll be making jewelry! Together we will craft the coolest and most custom-to-you necklaces from a wide variety of curated vintage beads. We’ll kick off with an inspo session and hardware demo before leaving you to select + bead your hearts out.

A month-long show in Bushwick featuring 11 NY-based Asian American artists who have been published in Slant’d magazines.

The Slant’d Art Show runs from May 2- June 1 with an Opening Reception May 2, 6-9pm and a Meet the Artists Art Fair on May 25, 2-6pm. We hope to see you there!
